How to reach the Conference venue?
Trivandrum is the capital city of Kerala. Owing to its strategic location, it is well connected with all parts of the country by road, rail and air. Following are the various choices for you to arrive at the conference venue.
BY ROAD:
An extensive road network connects Trivandrum with all other cities in Kerala and also cities like Chennai, Bangalore, etc. College of Engineering, Trivandrum is about 10 kilometers from the Thampanoor bus station which is the main KSRTC bus station in Trivandrum. From Thampanoor bus station which is located opposite to the Central Railway Station, take any of the buses to Kollam, Attingal, Kazhakootam, etc which passes through Chavadimukku junction which is about 250 meters from the venue. Vehicles like taxis and auto rickshaws also can be hired for moving locally. College is approximately 10 kms away from the bus stand.
BY RAIL:
Trivandrum has a major Railway station located at Thampanoor. The major cities in Kerala and India are linked to Trivandrum by rail. From Trivandrum Central Railway Station, you can make avail of pre-paid taxis or auto rickshaws to reach the venue which is about 10 kilometres from the Central Railway Station. You can also make avail of the KSRTC buses from Thampanoor bus station located opposite to the Central Railway station.
BY AIR:
Trivandrum has an International airport in the city which operates regular domestic and international flights to and from Trivandrum. Most of the cities in India and abroad are well connected to Trivandrum. Trivandrum International airport is about 15 kilometers from the Venue. Pre-paid taxi service can be availed to reach the conference venue.
